About Jester's Treasures

Jesters were performers and what they offered was treasures in the form of their acts. They could persuade the king’s and queen’s mood with jokes, stories, performances, and deeds.

The jesters were known for their ways of entertaining the royal court. By storytelling, performing song and dance, they could influence the king, queen, and the audience as a whole.

Ironically, jesters were considered as buffoons, fools, tricksters, and held a low social status yet they were called upon to make others laugh with delight. They were looked upon to amuse others and hold sway over the crowd.

Treasures come in many different forms. Even though the concept of treasure usually is viewed as gold, silver, or monetary currencies providing others with entertainment, insights, and ideas are other forms of treasures and in most cases just as valuable.

At Jester’s Treasures I look to entertain the audience with the value of writing and storytelling. I like to give homage to the jesters of old by tracing their footsteps and exploring the creative arts.
